MOROCCAN HAMMAM

Moroccan Hammam (bath)

What is it Moroccan Bath? It is of three types. Basic bath, bath with hammam rituals and bath with hammam rituals plus massage.

Basic Bath

Lying on a warm traditional Moroccan Hammam slab your therapist will begin by running warm water over your body. This is followed by applying black soap all over your body and leaving it there for 10 minutes in the steam.  After washing away black soap body is scrubbed by a fine 'kessa exfoliating glove' to exfoliate and remove the dead skin, leaving your skin rejuvenated and moisturised.

Bath with hammam rituals

After basic bath Rhassoul mud is applied on full body, which will relax and soothe muscles as well as easing out tension and knots. Mud mask is left for 10-15 minutes on the body. Your therapist will then wash the mud off of you and apply a nourishing balm using long stroking movements to moisturise the skin. The treatment is completed with a relaxing scalp massage

Bath with hammam rituals and full body massage

After bath with hammam rituals you take a shower inside hammam and wear the bathrobe. Then you are taken to adjacent massage room and given a 50 minutes full body massage.

Note: If possible please bring an extra panty when coming for Moroccan bath. In case you forget we can provide a disposal panty.

Benefits of Black Moroccan Soap

Deep cleans the skin by removing toxins and dead skin cells, making our skin softer. The exfoliation increases the blood and lymph circulation. With its anti-microbial proprieties Moroccan black soap is rich in vitamin E. Highly advised to relieve itchy back due to an excess of dead skin and clogged pores.

Moroccan Clay (Rhassoul Mud)

It helps to improve skin clarity and texture and is deep cleansing and detoxifying. Moroccan Rhassoul Clay can be used as detoxifying cleanser, skin conditioner, shampoo, and facial and body mask. It has a number of outstanding benefits that surpass those of other clays because it contains the highest content of silica, magnesium, potassium and calcium.

Kessa Exfoliating Glove

Skin exfoliation is very important if you desire a healthy and glowing skin as well as an even complexion. When dead skin cells are scoured off, then skin treatments creams and lotions for toning and even healing of stretch marks can function well.

The Kessa glove is long lasting and made of granular tissue used for a deep skin exfoliation, removing dead skin layers, toxins and stimulating blood circulation.

The Kessa glove is typically used with the specially prepared Hammam Black soap but it can also be used with a good exfoliating soap.

I just wanted to say thank you so much from my heavily pregnant daughter in law and myself for our luxury pedicure yesterday. Not only was our treatment excellent but the atmosphere and friendliness from the therapists made it even more special. I apologise but I never got the girls names but I am definitely recommending your Beaty spa and therapists to everyone I know and i soon be in for my moroccan bath ready for my Turkish hols.
